Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor | Lockheed Martin Lockheed Martin is seeking a Multi-Functional Manufacturing Supervisor (Level 3) to lead a team of 8-10 hourly bargaining unit associates in C-130J Final Assembly production. This role is instrumental in ensuring cost, schedule, and quality performance, while implementing lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. What You Will Be Doing Leadership & Supervision: Supervise a team of 8-10 hourly bargaining unit associates in C-130J Final Assembly production. Oversee employee training, performance management, and compliance documentation. Partner with human resources and union stewards to address and resolve employee-related matters. Production & Process Management: Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste. Set and prioritize tasks to support and exceed production schedules. Conduct investigations and problem resolution activities as required. Manage cost, schedule, and quality performance to meet business objectives. Collaboration & Compliance: Interface with internal and external customers to ensure operational alignment. Ensure adherence to company ethics, business practices, and environmental, safety, and health (ESH) standards. Participate in meetings, reporting, and extended-hour support as needed. Shop Floor Manager (SFM) experience. Able to multi-task and prioritize efficiently. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally, in writing, and in group settings as a member or leader. Strong Interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with technical, non-technical, and business staff at all levels. Comfortable with Microsoft business suite with the ability to learn additional computer systems. Proficient Qualsight or Appriso. Knowledge of C-130 assembly. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,800 - $130,180. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
