Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Roseau, MN Specialty: Clinic--Outpatient Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay: $1537 - $1852 Are you a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse ready to make a difference in an outpatient clinic setting? As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of patients by performing and documenting assessments, completing health history and admission processes, and identifying discharge planning and education needs. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated, patient-centered care.
- Assist registered nurses or other licensed practitioners in identifying patient needs and care priorities
- Contribute to the evaluation and modification of care plans
- Demonstrate competency in department-specific functions
- Assign or delegate nursing interventions to qualified personnel
- Identify early warning signs of changes in patient conditions and report appropriately
- Implement nursing interventions and prescribed medical regimens safely and timely
- Collaborate and communicate with patients, families, and team members to ensure quality care
- Participate in health education and discharge planning
