Music Therapist Opportunity

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Active National Certification in Music Therapy
• Experience working in school settings with children and adolescents is preferred
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and communicate effectively with families
• Must complete district fingerprint background check and drug screening prior to start date

What You'll Do:

• Provide music therapy services to students (ages and grade levels assigned as needed)
• Deliver sessions every other week, serving up to 3-4 students per day (total caseload: 7 students)
• Assess student needs, set therapeutic goals, and document progress
• Develop individualized intervention plans that encourage skills in social interaction, communication, and emotional regulation
• Participate in meetings with educational staff when requested to review student progress or update goals
• Adapt interventions to align with student abilities and school environment
