Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA.
• Active Hawaii state license in Speech-Language Pathology required by assignment start. Candidate must apply for Hawaii license upon acceptance if not already held.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience. Acute care, inpatient rehab, or skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience preferred.
• Independent, proficient completion of Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS) in radiology without supervision required.
• Experience with Meditech documentation for inpatient care and paper-based outpatient documentation preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital (Inpatient Rehabilitation and Acute Care caseload with possible outpatient referrals).
• Shift Name: Days.
• Schedule: Generally a set schedule 5 days per week with likely inclusion of 1 weekend day.
• EMR: Epic implemented as of November 1, 2025.
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float within facility units as needed.
