1. SECURITY OFFICER

Summary The Security Officer maintains safety at all AEG venues by patrolling, observing, and documenting activity. They manage incidents, provide customer service, and coordinate with emergency personnel. Primary Responsibilities Monitor assigned areas on foot, reporting and controlling irregular activity; assist in ejection or control of unruly guests. Monitor entry and access points, ensuring only authorized guests and employees gain entry. Escort artists, VIPs, guests and staff to protect against disruption or injury. Respond promptly to the fire control centre to locate, acknowledge and silence alarms; enforce evacuation when necessary. Observe and document medical situations; request EMT/medical assistance; assist with minor first aid and transportation for families when needed. Provide customer service before, during, and after events—including directions, instructions, escorts, and medical assistance. Screen and verify all employees, vendors, delivery personnel, guests, and artists; review documentation for validity. Log all activity, movement, and repairs in the appropriate log to ensure accurate incident documentation. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalency. 1‑2 years related work experience. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Expert organizational, leadership, and time‑management skills. Ability to qualify for a security officer license and maintain a Guard Card. CPR and AED certification. Good understanding of rules, regulations, and ethical conduct. Capability to stand for extended periods. Willingness to work long hours, nights, weekends, and some holidays. Preferable knowledge of the music industry and live events.

2. SECURITY SUPERVISOR

Summary The Security Supervisor protects the safety of AEG Presents’ guests, employees, clients, and assets. They monitor security cameras, record activity, and diffuse potential threats while maintaining safety for all parties. Primary Responsibilities Monitor and record activity on venue security cameras. Ensure all cameras are functional and unobstructed. Anticipate potential threats from guests, visitors, and workers. Maintain a daily activity log with information reported by the security team. Record equipment repairs, guest incidents, and near‑miss situations. Actively patrol building to secure doors and address pressing issues. Prepare and maintain daily log sheets for team radios and keycards. Plan non‑show deployment strategies. Obtain pertinent information from the previous shift to anticipate needs. Maintain the fire control system in proper working order. Activate the system during shows/events and deactivate it when venues are dark. Monitor housekeeping activity; unlock and open doors and provide escorts as needed. Issue daily credentials for employees, workers, and visitors. Maintain a visitors log, ensuring guests sign in and out. Assist with group tours, delivery check‑ins, and logging deliveries. Oversee and manage staff, including hiring, scheduling, time‑card management, and terminations. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalency (Bachelor’s degree preferred). 3‑5 years related work experience. Law enforcement or security background. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Expert organizational, leadership, and time‑management skills. Ability to stand for extended periods. Willingness to work long hours, nights, weekends, and some holidays. Compliance with security officer licensing requirements. Knowledgeable of OSHA/ADA laws and regulations. Management experience.

3. SECURITY MANAGER

Summary The Security Manager ensures event safety, trains staff, manages incidents, maintains records, and collaborates with agencies to establish training and compliance. Primary Responsibilities Coordinate with all departments to ensure awareness of safety/security protocols. Train new and current employees on risk‑management policies for festivals, shows, venues, and one‑offs. Oversee incident response, creating reports and filing as required. Maintain accurate credentialing throughout events. Implement ABI for security staffing, create deployments, manage audit teams, supervise and assist in security planning for large‑scale events. Oversee and manage staff, including hiring, scheduling, time‑card management, and terminations. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalency (Bachelor’s degree preferred). 5 years related work experience. Law enforcement or security background. Exceptional computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel and Adobe software. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Expert organizational, leadership, and time‑management skills. Knowledgeable of OSHA/ADA laws and regulations. Strong management or leadership background. Ability to qualify for a security officer license. Demonstrated success in team building. Experience with Guard Cards.

4. FIRE SAFETY OFFICER

Summary The Fire Safety Officer facilitates compliance, minimizes hazards, and performs regular inspections to ensure safety procedures are followed during all events. Primary Responsibilities Monitor the fire panel during events, resetting alarms and ensuring proper function. Oversee installations, maintenance, and conduct inspections to guarantee safe housekeeping. Develop evacuation procedures and announce instructions over PA during fire situations. Report fire system incidents, alarms, and required maintenance to the General Manager. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalency. 3‑5 years related work experience. Certificate S98 or S95 required. Proven work as a Safety Officer. Knowledge of OSHA/ADA laws and regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Pay Scale: $18.21 – $25.71 per hour Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
