Neuroimaging Research Technician II - Radiology

Position Summary We are seeking to recruit a Neuroimaging Research Technician to provide technical support for our magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) research study, perform image processing, and help both animal and human studies for ongoing cardiovascular MRI projects. The position-holder will contribute to the current grant applications in patients and animals, including patient recruitment, regulatory work, and clinical examinations. The researcher will closely work with the principal investigator (PI) and collaborating members from various departments, including biomedical engineering, material science, Radiology, vascular surgery, cardiovascular/cardiac‑surgery division, and Program for Physical Therapy. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Maintain laboratory equipment, inventory, and scheduling. Perform image post‑processing and some statistical analysis. Assist all animal experimental studies. Assist human subject recruitment and experiments. Ensure compliance and regulatory requirements. Assist PI/Postdoc fellow with running study participants through MRI experiments. Transfer files to appropriate server. Review study database to ensure all data has been entered. Run developed scripts for image processing and analysis under PI and Postdoc fellow supervision. Assess basic cognitive function and behaviors with testing. Provide routine data entry ensuring accuracy and completeness. Maintain study database. Provide the testing questionnaires to study participants. Prepare cognitive testing packets. Score cognitive testing and questionnaires for PI and Postdoc fellow. Working Conditions Laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. Must be physically able to wear protective equipment and provide standard care to research animals. Education & Qualifications Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent certification, or combination of education and/or experience. Certifications: No specific certification/professional license required. Work Experience: Imaging Research (1 Year). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree.
