Senior Accountant

About the RoleWe are seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, a proactive mindset, and the ability to step in quickly and add value in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. This role will support key accounting functions, including month‑end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and integrity across financial operations.Key Responsibilities• Lead month‑end and year‑end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate and resolve variances.• Support general ledger maintenance and ensure accuracy of financial data.• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.• Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.• Support audit processes by preparing schedules and documentation.• Identify process improvements to streamline accounting operations and strengthen controls.
