Senior Tax Associate

Baldwin Management, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Tax Associate to support the Branch Manager in preparing Individual and Corporate Tax Returns, along with supporting tax planning initiatives for our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Key Responsibilities Prepare Federal, State, and local Individual income tax returns. Assist with preparation of Federal, State, and local Corporate income tax returns. Assist with preparation of State sales tax returns Assist with preparation of Federal, State, and local payroll tax returns Conduct tax research and provide guidance on complex tax issues. Assist with tax audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries from tax authorities. Review financial statements to identify tax implications and tax planning opportunities. Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate tax reporting. Qualifications · Bachelor's Degree in Accounting · CPA or EA certification preferred (or actively pursuing) · 1-3 years of tax preparation experience, centered around individual tax return prep, with corporate tax return prep a plus · Experience with New York State, Connecticut, and New Jersey sales tax returns · Experience with New York State, Connecticut, and New Jersey payroll tax returns · Experience with Proseries tax preparation software · Experience with Quickbooks and Quickbooks Online accounting software · Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) · Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills · Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines --- · Strong organizational and time management skills · Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment · Effective communication and collaboration across teams · High level of integrity and commitment to fiduciary standards --- About Baldwin Management, LLC Baldwin Management is a boutique, SEC-registered investment firm providing comprehensive wealth management, tax, and accounting services.
