Federal Cloud Account Executive - Health & Human Services

Oracle Government, Defense, and Intelligence has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cloud Account Executive to cover the cabinet level agency: US Department of Health & Human Services , major OPDIVs including NIH, CDC, NCI, ARPA‑H, and the HHS OCIO. Candidates must be based in the greater Washington DC area. Responsibilities This role will own building and executing a growth plan to increase cloud adoption exponentially year‑over‑year in the relevant cloud regions. The primary duty is to build partnerships, serve as a client advocate, and position Oracle cloud to meet the customer's mission. You will manage the territory through the entire sales process, including business development, prospecting, contract negotiations, and post‑sales support, working with a cross‑functional team that includes capture and business development, software, consulting, and hardware. In this role you will understand Dev/Sec/Ops models and provide Oracle IaaS and PaaS solutions to mission‑critical problems. Your success will come from leveraging the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. The successful candidate will build and expand business partner and system integrator relationships and identify mutual benefits from the partnership. What You Will Bring (Qualifications) Minimum of 8+ years technology field sales experience, including Cloud technology sales experience, or other applicable experience; ability to forecast, manage sales expenses, and close new Oracle business. MUST have a strong understanding of and experience working with the Federal Government, preferably the US Department of Health & Human Services. Business development, prospecting, presentation, excellent communication, and problem‑solving skills are essential. Proven track record of exceeding sales quota and territory/account development; experience as the focal point for clients for all sales and related issues. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle’s competitors is helpful; willingness to learn Oracle Cloud technology rapidly. Travel may be needed. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
