The\u00a0 Aircraft Maintenance Technician position with Southern California Edison is an excellent opportunity for an experienced aviation maintenance professional who wants to apply their technical skills in a mission-focused utility aviation environment. This position directly supports safe, reliable aircraft operations that are critical to field crews, emergency response, infrastructure support, and the communities SCE serves. The successful candidate must be knowledgeable in FAA regulations, FAR compliance requirements, airworthiness standards, and manufacturer maintenance directives. The individual should possess strong technical aptitude, exercise sound judgment, teamwork, and consistently maintain aircraft to the highest standards of safety and reliability.\u00a0This position offers the opportunity to make meaningful contributions while developing professionally within a leading aviation operation.

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience working on turbine-powered helicopters and Airbus Helicopters AS350/H125.
• Must possess a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Bell 429 and/or\u00a0 Bell 205A1
• Possess an Inspection Authorization (IA)
• Valid class A Driver License with valid Hazmat and Tanker endorsement

• This position\u2019s work mode is\u00a0 on-site . The employee will report to an SCE facility or in the field location.\u00a0 Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
