Come for a JOB, stay for a CAREER. Banquet Captain Overview: A Banquet Captain is a working position within the Banquet department. As a captain you will be responsible for supervising banquet staff as well as maintaining meeting/functions rooms and ensuring that banquet operations run smoothly and prioritizing the comfort and safety of our guests. Responsibilities include: Assisting managers with schedules and training of staff. Overseeing the preparation and the end of the banquet event. Maintaining and ordering inventory Ability to read and understand the Banquet Event Order. Support other staff members. Respond to the guest in a professional and timely manner. Able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment. Job Requirements: If you are interested in kickstarting your career in the hospitality industry and have the following skills, we would love to speak with you: Have a keen eye for detail, time management and great customer service skills. Pleasant and friendly demeanor. Supervising experience is preferred but not necessary. Able to work as a team and independently. Flexible working hours. Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards. Physical mobility and stamina. Must be able to pass a background check Ability to follow instructions.
