SERVPRO Team Carpenter — Greater Sacramento & Central Valley

Looking for hands-on work where no two days are exactly the same?

SERVPRO Team Carpenter is looking for a dependable, organized Contents Restoration Technician to help customers recover after fire, water, smoke, and other property damage.

Restoration experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person. We’re looking for someone who can follow a process, stay organized, work well with a team, and use good judgment.

What You'll Do

• Pack and unpack customers’ belongings during restoration projects
• Photograph, label, inventory, and track items
• Carefully wrap, move, store, and return furniture and household contents
• Clean items affected by water, smoke, fire, or other damage
• Keep customer belongings and storage areas organized
• Load and unload company vehicles
• Help set up and organize contents at job sites and in the warehouse
• Use basic software and mobile apps to document work
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
• Follow company procedures and safety requirements

What We're Looking For

• Dependable and shows up ready to work
• Organized and pays attention to details
• Comfortable using a phone, tablet, and basic computer programs
• Able to follow instructions and learn new processes
• Good problem-solving skills and common sense
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Professional and respectful around customers and their belongings
• Able to safely lift and move household and commercial contents
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Willing to learn — we will train you on restoration-specific processes and software

Experience That Can Be Helpful

Experience in any of the following can be a plus, but is not required :

• Moving or storage
• Warehouse or inventory
• Cleaning
• Delivery
• Customer service
• Construction or restoration
• Furniture or household goods handling
