Employment & Labor Associate (5–7 Years) Our client, a highly respected law firm with a strong presence in California, is seeking an experienced Employment & Labor Associate to join its Los Angeles office. About the Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic employment practice representing high-profile national clients. The role offers sophisticated, complex work across both litigation and advisory matters, with significant client interaction. Key Responsibilities Handle all aspects of employment litigation, including: Wage and hour class actions PAGA representative actions Litigation in federal and state courts, as well as arbitration Provide employment advisory support, including: Drafting and updating employee handbooks and workplace policies Preparing and reviewing onboarding and separation documentation Advising on leaves of absence, accommodations, and disciplinary matters Collaborate with clients to develop practical, risk-based solutions Qualifications 5–7 years of employment law experience Strong background in employment litigation, including wage and hour matters and PAGA claims Experience providing day-to-day employment counseling Excellent academic credentials Superior analytical, writing, and communication skills Admission to the California Bar required Compensation Salary range: approximately $325,000 – $365,000, depending on experience and qualifications Why This Role Work with high-profile, national clients on complex employment matters Join a collaborative, high-performing practice group Engage in a balanced mix of litigation and advisory work Strong platform for continued professional growth and advancement #J-18808-Ljbffr PermanentPlacements.com
