Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Urologist, you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Tacoma, specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide array of Urology cases, making a significant impact on their lives and families. We pride ourselves in practicing high quality, evidence based, and patient centered medicine.

You will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of our patients and their families within Franciscan Medical Group.

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate Urologist, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex Urological disorders, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.

• Full-time (1.0FTE) position based at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA, a 375 bed Level III trauma center

• Join a team of 3 MD's, 2 APP's as well as support staff which includes RN's, MA's and a Nurse Navigator

• Call schedule is 7 days per month covering one site with additional sites optional

• Equipment includes disposable cystoscopes, prostate ultrasound, fusion biopsy, vasectomy equipment, PTNS and Urodynamics

• Robots available onsite.

• Applicants should be interested in a wide variety of general Urology cases, subspecialty training welcome.

Job Requirements

Required

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution

• Board certification or eligibility in Urology

• Active or eligible license in the state of Washington

• Strong clinical skills with experience in general Urolog y

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

• Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients and families

Pay Range

$553,636 - $680,572 /year
