Job Title: RN Nurse Supervisor

Duration: 22-26 week contract, must run through holidays, end date flexible

Shift: Full Time Nights

Hours per Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in long-term care and supervisory experience across multiple units

License: Current Registered Professional Nurse licensure in Client

Certifications: BLS required through AHA or RQI system

Must-Have: CPI obtained within 90 days of hire

Description: Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nursing is required. Assures quality resident care through teaching and supervision of staff on respective shifts. Communicates with the Director of Nursing regarding identified and potential unit problems and collaborates to resolve issues. Makes sound administrative decisions in the absence of the Director of Nursing and the Administrator within identified scope of responsibility. Demonstrated ability to manage self professionally in stressful situations. Ability to facilitate clinical management and work effectively under pressure. Familiarity with regulatory requirements is preferred. Demonstrated excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Computer literacy is essential. Models and leads in accordance with Healing Environment principles. Ensures safety, promotes dignity and respect, and exemplifies healthy relationships in the care environment.
