Job Description:

The Business and Economics Department at Wittenberg University seeks to hire a full-time Professor of Practice (non-tenure track) faculty member beginning August 1 2027. Teaching responsibilities include courses in Financial Accounting Managerial/Cost Accounting Intermediate Accounting Advanced Accounting Accounting Research and possibly entry-level Finance. The candidate will also be expected to engage in professional activity or service and advising.

Requirements:

• A Masters in Accounting or MBA plus a CPA or CMA are required.
• A Ph.D. in Accounting or related field is preferred.
• Candidates must have at least five years of relevant work experience in the accounting industry
• Candidates must have a strong commitment and interest in teaching in the liberal arts and sciences context
