Depot Technician

Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Configuration Technician to support device configuration, deployment, inventory management, and shipping operations. This role combines hands‑on computer setup with logistics responsibilities and requires the ability to follow documented processes accurately. Key Responsibilities: Configure and provision Windows‑based devices using Autopilot and documented build procedures. Follow step‑by‑step build documentation to set up language, keyboard, and system settings. Access client databases and accurately update device information, serial numbers, and status records. Manage ticket updates and documentation within an ITSM platform (Autotask preferred). Perform shipping, receiving, device intake, inventory tracking, and asset management activities. Process returned and terminated devices, including testing, troubleshooting, and reconditioning equipment for redeployment. Maintain accurate inventory and deployment records with a high level of attention to detail.
