This role offers teaching‑assistant experience, mentorship from experienced faculty, and is an excellent stepping stone toward a career in teaching or student support services. The position includes paid room and board, in addition to compensation. Responsibilities Express enthusiasm and concern for student‑athletes’ experiences, learning, and growth in all areas. Maintain an active and visible presence during supervisory duties and remind student‑athletes of expectations when needed. Work live‑in shifts with overnight and daytime responsibilities on a rotating basis. Know dorm safety and evacuation procedures and reinforce them with student‑athletes. Support student hall monitors in their work with peers to maintain the dorm (including table‑cleaning rotation and trash disposal). Connect student‑athletes to any necessary administration/support personnel regarding well‑being and behavior within the school. Assist with scheduled dorm activities and help chaperone off‑campus trips. Oversee arrival and departure of student‑athletes throughout the school year from vacations and ensure that all necessary closing procedures are accomplished. Possess a valid driver’s license and drive school vehicles when asked. Report any needed maintenance for the dorm or school vehicle in a timely fashion. Perform any other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Flexible with the ability to engage in teamwork and work cooperatively with others. Ability to correspond in English with parents, students, colleagues, and others. Ability to use technology in communication. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Experience working with teenagers in an educational or camp setting preferred. At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred. Physical ability to relocate from one physical space to another throughout the course of the day and attend off‑site trips. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Must be able to access and navigate each department within the organization’s facilities. Possess/obtain a valid driver’s license. Citizenship, residency or work visa required. Salary: $25,000.
