RN - MedSurg

Med/Surg RN - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 4x12 hours (18:45 - 07:15) with every other weekend required. 3x12 schedules may also be considered.

The Med/Surg RN will provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on the management and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to quality patient outcomes.

Provide nursing care to patients on a Med/Surg unit.

Assess and monitor patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care delivery.

Educate patients and families on disease management and care plans.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (Epic).

Participate in quality improvement activities and adhere to safety protocols.

Minimum of 3 years Med/Surg RN experience required.

Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start.

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.

Travel experience is mandatory; first-time travelers will not be considered.
