• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection, preparing samples for testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all processes, providing training for newcomers and supporting lab quality assurance efforts.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or comparable allied health qualification, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Requirements

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Continuous maintenance of current certification throughout your tenure.
