Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Execute various ultrasound assessments, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process, ensuring every step is explained with clarity and kindness
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to guarantee high-quality imaging
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any issues
• Document all procedures accurately and maintain efficient patient records within our electronic medical system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound technology to ensure best practices

Required Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or relevant field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Mandatory Certifications

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
