Job Summary Gymreapers operates across a global supplier network that requires timely and accurate visibility into production status, supplier execution, order progress, and delivery commitments. The Production Coordinator is responsible for monitoring production activity across suppliers, tracking open orders, maintaining production visibility, and supporting execution of the supply plan through accurate reporting and follow-up. This role serves as the primary owner of production status reporting and production data integrity. The position works closely with Supplier Operations, Supply Planning, Strategic Sourcing, Product Development, Compliance, and suppliers to ensure accurate information is available for decision‑making. The Production Coordinator plays a critical role in identifying potential delays, tracking supplier commitments, escalating production risks, and supporting successful execution of purchase orders and production schedules. This position is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and execution-focused. Key Responsibilities Production Status Tracking Monitor production progress across all active suppliers. Maintain visibility of production status for all open purchase orders. Track production milestones and supplier commitments. Ensure production information is current, accurate, and actionable. Support communication of production status across the organization. Open Order Management Monitor all open purchase orders from production start through shipment readiness. Track supplier commitments against required delivery dates. Identify production delays and schedule deviations. Support prioritization of critical orders and business requirements. Maintain accurate records of production progress. ETA Management Track estimated completion dates across all active production orders. Monitor changes to supplier commitments. Communicate updated timelines to internal stakeholders. Identify risks that could impact delivery schedules. Support recovery planning when delays occur. Production Reporting Develop and maintain production status reports. Prepare weekly and monthly production summaries. Support management reporting requirements. Ensure production reporting is timely, accurate, and consistent. Develop reporting tools that improve operational visibility. Supplier Follow‑Up Conduct routine follow‑up with suppliers regarding production status. Verify completion dates, milestones, and shipment readiness. Gather production information required for planning and reporting. Escalate supplier concerns when commitments are at risk. Support supplier communication and coordination activities. Capacity & Work‑In‑Process Visibility Monitor work‑in‑process across suppliers. Support collection of supplier capacity information. Assist in identifying bottlenecks and production constraints. Maintain visibility into production loading and capacity utilization. Support Supplier Operations Manager with capacity assessments. Escalation Support Identify production risks before they impact business performance. Escalate schedule, capacity, quality, and delivery concerns. Support development of corrective action and recovery plans. Assist Supplier Operations Manager in managing production disruptions. Maintain documentation of escalations and resolutions. Data Integrity & Process Discipline Maintain accurate production data within company systems. Ensure consistency between supplier reports and internal records. Support continuous improvement of production tracking processes. Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and visibility. Help establish standard operating procedures for production reporting. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with Supply Planning to provide production status visibility. Support Supplier Operations in production execution activities. Coordinate with Quality regarding production and inspection status. Support Compliance activities requiring production information. Assist Product Development during launches and supplier transitions. Support Plant Operations with production‑related information when required. Open order status is consistently maintained and communicated. Supplier commitments are tracked proactively. Production delays are identified early. Escalations occur before issues impact customers. Reporting supports faster decision‑making. Production data accuracy improves significantly. Supplier Operations leadership has full visibility into production performance. Production reporting becomes standardized and scalable. Required Experience 2+ years of experience in: Production Planning Manufacturing Operations Supply Chain Operations Purchasing Support Supplier Coordination Strong analytical and organizational skills. Experience working with ERP systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools. Strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Experience Experience in consumer products, manufacturing, retail, or e‑commerce environments. Experience working with international suppliers. Experience supporting production scheduling or supply chain execution. Experience with inventory, purchasing, or supplier management processes. APICS / ASCM coursework or related supply‑chain training.
