Role Description This full‑time Sales Specialist role is a hybrid position based in Toledo, OH, with a mix of in‑office and work‑from‑home flexibility. The Sales Specialist will identify prospective customers, present insurance products, and tailor solutions to meet individual needs across auto, home, life, and other lines. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include responding to inquiries, providing quotes, following up on leads, and maintaining accurate customer and sales records. The role also involves delivering a high standard of customer service, explaining coverage options clearly, handling policy changes, and supporting claim‑related questions. In addition, the Sales Specialist will collaborate with team members, participate in ongoing training, and contribute to sales goals through proactive outreach and relationship building. Qualifications Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with customers and colleagues. Customer Service skills focused on empathy, problem‑solving, and building long‑term relationships. Sales skills with the ability to identify customer needs, present solutions, and close opportunities effectively. Training and Sales Management skills to support coaching, onboarding, or guiding team performance when needed. Basic proficiency with CRM or sales tracking tools and comfort working in a hybrid (office and remote) environment. Ability to work toward individual and team targets, manage time effectively, and adapt in a fast‑paced setting. Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or retail sales is preferred but not required. High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education in business or a related field is a plus.
