Tasting Room Assistant

Job Description:

As a Tasting Room Assistant at Ashes & Diamonds Winery, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests receive exceptional service and enjoy the best of our hospitality. You will support our Estate Hosts and Culinary team by assisting with daily tasks, maintaining a welcoming environment, and contributing to the overall guest experience.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Be a Steward of the Property
•  Help set up, clear, and reset tables between reservations to ensure a seamless dining experience.
•  Assist in maintaining and organizing public areas by keeping them neat and presentable throughout the day.
•  Support the team by performing routine tasks such as restocking glassware, silverware, and collateral materials.
•  Regularly inspect and tidy restrooms, ensuring they are clean and fully stocked.

Engage with the Guests
•  Greet guests warmly and assist Estate Hosts in providing exceptional service.
•  Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and relay any special needs to the appropriate team members.

Be a Partner to the Team
•  Assist with pre-shift and post-shift setup and cleanup, ensuring smooth operations during service hours.
•  Provide assistance during special events and help manage guest flow during busy periods.
•  Be proactive in offering support to the Culinary and Estate Host teams, adapting to the dynamic environment of our winery.

QUALIFICATIONS

•  Previous experience in a restaurant or winery setting is preferred.
•  Adaptable, flexible, and eager to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
•  Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality.
•  Professional appearance and demeanor, reflecting the standards of Ashes & Diamonds Winery.
•  Must be able to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

•  Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
•  Ability to stand for extended periods.
•  Ability to bend, reach, and move dynamically throughout service.
