Job Summary: Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered nursing care in a supportive environment that upholds professional nursing standards and fosters relationship-based care. This role emphasizes best practices and exceptional customer service within acute care settings including labor and delivery.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage time and resources, prioritizing critical tasks while balancing short- and long-term goals.
• Apply clinical expertise to make appropriate patient care assignments based on acuity and technical needs.
• Engage in continuous learning and apply evidence-based practices to enhance workplace quality and efficiency.
• Deliver excellent patient and visitor relations, demonstrating respect, integrity, collaboration, empathy, and professionalism.
• Maintain a therapeutic environment by minimizing noise and supporting healthcare students and programs.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent experience with at least five years of acute care nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in advanced degree programs accepted.
• Completion and maintenance of area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty certifications.

Licensure and Certifications:

• Current active Registered Nurse license as required by the state nursing board.

Work Shift: Night shift, full-time (36 hours weekly).

This position is located in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest area of the United States.
