ARRT CT Technologist - Night Shift

Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Midwest region as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist, providing top-quality diagnostic imaging services using ionizing radiation. In this role, you will perform CT procedures to produce detailed cross-sectional images for licensed practitioners, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct CT scans following approved protocols and radiologist instructions.
• Prepare and educate patients to ensure cooperation and reduce anxiety.
• Apply radiation protection principles to minimize exposure.
• Assist with interventional CT procedures using aseptic techniques.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment and administer contrast media as prescribed.
• Evaluate image quality and perform necessary adjustments.
• Provide basic life support when needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage exam-related documentation.
• Support quality assessment initiatives and contribute to departmental improvements.
• Train students and other healthcare professionals as required.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiographic Technology.
• Proven experience as a radiographer with knowledge of CT procedures and cross-sectional anatomy.
• Proficient computer skills.

Licensure and Certifications:

• State certification as a radiologic technologist.
• Registered Technologist (R.T. (R)) with ARRT or equivalent.
• Must obtain or maintain CT certification (R.T. (R) (CT)) within two years of employment.
