Certified Surgical Technologist Job Responsibilities

• Prepare Surgical Equipment and Supplies : Ensure all necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies are organized and ready for use in surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with Surgical Teams : Partner with surgeons, nurses, and OR staff to deliver efficient, high-quality patient care during procedures.
• Handle High-Pressure Situations with Poise : Remain calm and professional in stressful moments, effectively managing challenges as they arise.
• Ensure Surgical Sterility : Maintain impeccable sterile techniques throughout surgeries to prioritize patient safety and prevent contamination.
• Adapt to Changing Duties : Demonstrate flexibility and take on additional responsibilities as required to support the surgical team's success.

Job Requirements

• Licensure & Certifications:
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program.
• AHA BLS certification required (within 30 days of hire).
• Current North Carolina state Surgical Technologist Registration.
