Travel Nurse RN – Cardiac Cath Lab Position available in Louisville, Kentucky. Position Details Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 hours Shift: 12‑hour days Employment type: Travel Responsibilities Assist physicians in angioplasty, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology procedures. Maintain and monitor EKG equipment during procedures. Support angioplasties, valvuloplasties, stent placements, and pacemaker/ICD implantation. Stand and walk for long periods; lift up to 20 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds when necessary. Manage stress and communicate effectively with patients and staff of all ages and backgrounds. Qualifications BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications. Minimum 2 years of recent acute‑care experience (1–2 years recommended). Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
