Human Resources Generalist

Overview As a Human Resources Generalist at CyberPoint, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Human Resources Department, including employee onboarding and offboarding, benefits and leave administration, payroll support and ensuring compliance with company policies and practices. Work accommodates telework and will require travel to customer sites in Columbia and Linthicum. Primary responsibilities include: Perform all aspects of employee management to include communication, performance assessments, disputes and onboarding/terminations/changes while ensuring the well-being of all employees through a positive work environment. Perform data collection and preparation of employee census information for compliance reports. Perform compliance activities. Perform annual design of employee benefits portfolio and benefits administration. Qualifications What You’ll Need US Citizenship 3+ years' experience as a Human Resources Generalist for 25+ employees 3+ years experience with MS office, specifically MS Word and MS Excel Familiarity with IRS regulations, employment law, labor laws, EEO laws and employee benefits laws Extremely detail oriented and organized. Able to work independently and accurately Demonstrable analytic, organizational and problem solving skills for data interpretation Excellent verbal and written communication skills that are tactful and diplomatic Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and able to respond to changing priorities Able to respond effectively and promptly to telephone, email and in-person inquiries Bachelor's in Human Resources or a related field and/or HR certifications (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR or equivalent) What Will Set You Apart Experience with ADP Workforce Now HRIS Experience with Deltek Time & Expense Experience working in Human Resources at a Federal Contractor with cleared personnel Our Culture Great people are the foundation of any great company.
