We are currently seeking a Technical Solns.Arch. Specialist Advisor to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).

Key Responsibilities
1. L4 Technical Support & Troubleshooting
Act as the highest-level technical escalation point for Imprivata-related incidents.
Troubleshoot complex authentication, SSO, agent, appliance and application integration issues.
Perform detailed analysis of Imprivata logs, Windows event logs, authentication flows and network traces.
Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring and high-severity incidents.
Provide permanent fixes rather than workaround-based resolutions.
Support major incidents and participate in technical bridge calls.
Work with Imprivata Support/Product Engineering for complex product defects.
2. Imprivata Platform Engineering
Administer and engineer enterprise Imprivata EAM/OneSign environments.
Manage Imprivata appliances, enterprise configuration and sites.
Configure and maintain enterprise-wide policies and administrative settings.
Manage Imprivata agents and endpoint deployments.
Monitor platform health, performance and availability.
Analyze system capacity and identify potential performance bottlenecks.
Maintain platform resiliency and business continuity.

Imprivata's enterprise architecture uses multiple appliances that synchronize databases and share users, policies and enrollments, making appliance/enterprise design and resiliency important areas for an L4 engineer.

3. SSO & Application Integration
Design, configure and troubleshoot SSO integrations for:
Web applications
Windows/client-server applications
Legacy applications
SAML applications
Modern application environments
Create and maintain application profiles.
Troubleshoot credential capture/injection and application authentication issues.
Analyze application-specific SSO failures.
Support integration with enterprise identity platforms such as Active Directory and Entra ID.
Provide technical guidance for new application onboarding.

Imprivata supports SSO across legacy, client/server, SAML and web applications.

4. Authentication & MFA
Design and troubleshoot authentication policies.
Support proximity cards, smart cards, biometrics, FIDO/security keys, OTP and other supported authentication mechanisms.
Troubleshoot authentication and re-authentication issues.
Support passwordless and MFA implementations.
Analyze authentication failures across endpoint, Imprivata and identity infrastructure.
Support advanced authentication use cases and policy-based access.

Current Imprivata EAM documentation includes multiple authentication methods and supports both endpoint and virtual-channel authentication scenarios.

5. VDI / Shared Workstation Support
Provide expert support for Imprivata deployments across:
Citrix
VMware Horizon
Azure Virtual Desktop / supported virtual environments
Thin/zero clients
Shared workstations
Troubleshoot fast-user-switching and session-related issues.
Support roaming users and shared-device authentication.
Analyze endpoint and virtual-channel authentication issues.
6. Upgrades, Patching & Migration
Lead Imprivata platform upgrades and patching activities.
Perform upgrade impact assessments.
Validate compatibility across supported components and endpoint environments.
Develop upgrade and rollback plans.
Conduct pre- and post-upgrade health checks.
Support migration between supported Imprivata platform versions/environments.
Coordinate with infrastructure, endpoint, network and application teams.

The current Imprivata documentation includes active-version release documentation and supported-component references, so the L4 role should be comfortable assessing version/component compatibility before upgrades.

7. Architecture & Engineering
Provide technical architecture for Imprivata deployments.
Review enterprise topology, appliance placement and site design.
Define HA/DR and resiliency strategies.
Review authentication architecture and dependencies.
Perform technical design reviews for new implementations.
Prepare HLD/LLD and implementation documents.
Identify platform limitations and recommend appropriate solutions.
Provide technical recommendations to architects and project teams.
8. Problem Management & Continuous Improvement
Identify recurring incidents and perform trend analysis.
Lead Problem Management for major recurring issues.
Develop permanent remediation plans.
Automate repetitive administrative and operational activities where possible.
Improve monitoring and alerting.
Develop operational dashboards and health-check mechanisms.
Review platform performance and capacity periodically.
9. Vendor Management
Act as the primary technical interface with Imprivata Support.
Raise and manage product defects and complex technical cases.
Provide detailed logs, troubleshooting evidence and RCA information.
Track vendor fixes and recommended workarounds.
Validate fixes before production implementation.
Participate in technical discussions with Imprivata engineering teams.
10. Documentation & Knowledge Management
Create and maintain:
HLD/LLD
SOPs
Runbooks
Troubleshooting guides
Knowledge articles
Upgrade procedures
DR procedures
Application onboarding standards
Operational health-check procedures
Conduct KT and technical training for L1/L2/L3 teams.
Mentor junior Imprivata engineers.
