Shift: Nights - 7:00 PM- 7:00 AM As a Registered Nurse with Sentara, you can excel in your career. This position's primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients. License and Certification * Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing * Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire Education * RN-Associate's Degree, or * RN-Bachelor's Degree, or * RN-Diploma, or * RN-Master's Degree Unit Description: This is a 24-bed unit where we care for patients with a variety of healthcare needs. We are the designated Stroke Unit. We provide for respiratory compromised patients on Bipap, high-flo and/or chronic long term vents. We manipulate and titrate vasoactive infusions and have bedside monitors. We provide care for patients with DKA, CHF, Pneumonia, and much more.
