About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Special Events and Logistics. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of a wide range of specialized public, private, and internal events, with a strong focus on public safety support. This role involves serving as the primary liaison between various stakeholders, including command and executive staff, city agencies, and private event organizers. The Executive Director will ensure that all events are in line with the company's mission to enhance the quality of life and maintain order, with a particular emphasis on personnel deployment, safety frameworks, and high operational standards. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include event planning for large, department-wide occasions, resource and personnel allocation, inter-agency liaison to synchronize response plans, financial management, traffic control planning, and strategic security mapping. The ideal candidate will have a background in event management, logistics, and security, and must be able to build data-driven deployment plans, formulate operational cost profiles, and guide the placement of tactical assets based on threat and situational analyses. A baccalaureate degree in a relevant field is required, along with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience, including at least 18 months in an executive, managerial, or administrative capacity. The role demands a high level of professionalism, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to the values of the company.
