Microscope PCB Hand Soldering Specialist

Join an electronics manufacturer in Stillwater, MN, where precision matters and every connection counts. In this role, you’ll build and refine assemblies by hand, working under a microscope to place and solder tiny components with exacting accuracy.

• Perform expert hand soldering of surface‑mount (SMT) and through‑hole components on printed circuit boards.
• Use a microscope to accurately solder fine‑pitch parts and verify quality workmanship.
• Interpret and follow detailed assembly drawings, work instructions, and quality guidelines.
• Complete rework and touch‑up soldering to meet standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean, ESD‑safe work area and care for tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with quality and assembly teammates to achieve daily production goals.

• 1+ year of hands‑on experience soldering electronic components.
• Proficiency working under a microscope for precision soldering tasks.
• Familiarity with IPC‑A‑610 (certification preferred).
• Exceptional hand‑eye coordination and a keen eye for detail.
• Reliability and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Start by reviewing your work instructions and inspecting your station for ESD compliance. Under the microscope, you’ll place and solder fine‑pitch components, verify joints, and perform touch‑ups as needed. You’ll partner with quality to address any findings and keep production moving smoothly toward daily targets.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Pay: $17.00–$22.00 per hour (DOE)
• Location: Stillwater, MN
