Employment Specialist

Employment Specialist CBI, a fully integrated behavioral health provider in Arizona, is seeking an Employment Specialist to deliver work-related services, including assessment, job readiness training, and skills building with patients. The role will spend at least 80% or more time in the community, working with employers, community colleges, skills centers, probation, and the criminal justice system. The specialist will also provide ongoing support after employment is obtained to sustain active and meaningful employment. Key Responsibilities Conduct assessments of patients’ employment readiness and create individualized employment plans. Provide job readiness training and skills building to patients. Build and maintain relationships with community employers, colleges, and service partners. Track employment outcomes and provide support after hire to ensure long‑term retention. Maintain accurate client records and comply with agency policies and regulatory requirements. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in behavioral health or medical field preferred. Minimum one year of experience in behavioral health or medical field. Lived experience in recovery from mental health and substance use disorders, homelessness, family members, or veterans preferred. Current valid Arizona driver’s license and clear 39‑month motor vehicle record. Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) certification per A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI policies.
