Job Title: Senior Database Developer / Architect

Location: Menands, NY (Hybrid)

Job Description:
We are seeking a senior-level Database Developer/Architect for a long-term, 2.5-year contract opportunity. This hybrid role involves designing end-to-end data pipelines, managing high-volume data integration frameworks, and overseeing enterprise data quality operations. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between heavy backend engineering and project delivery management within a structured governance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Database & ETL Architecture: Design, optimize, and maintain complex Oracle SQL/PL/SQL stored procedures, packages, and functions mapped to enterprise data warehouse layers.
• Data Integration: Build and maintain high-volume data ingestion routes using the Rhapsody integration engine to process massive record streams containing XML and HL7 message formats.
• Data Quality & Cleansing: Leverage Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) to manage data profiling, standardization, validation, and match/merge parameters.
• Testing Lifecycle: Plan and execute comprehensive system validation phases including unit, integration, regression, load, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Project Delivery: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define project timelines, gather business requirements, and ensure compliance with strict data security standards.

Required Experience and Skills:

• 7+ Years of deep experience writing Oracle SQL/PL/SQL scripts (Oracle 12c or higher, including 19c) and building complex Informatica PowerCenter mappings.
• 7+ Years of hands-on experience developing Rhapsody integration routes (Rhapsody 7+) handling high-volume XML/HL7 messages.
• 7+ Years of experience running extensive data profiling and cleansing workflows inside Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
• 7+ Years of full-lifecycle testing experience (functional, load, regression, and UAT).
• 5+ Years of functional experience managing project timelines and conducting business requirement gatherings.
• 4+ Years of proven experience programming and delivering IT initiatives within public sector government projects.
• Core knowledge of healthcare data compliance frameworks, specifically HIPAA and HL7 standards.
