Job Title

Baker Tilly is seeking a dedicated professional for a role within their Assurance service line. This position is responsible for routine data preparation and analysis, requiring critical thinking and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

• Initial preparation of Audit, EBP Audits and SSARS engagements, and similar.
• Delivering high-level skills in a range of standard tasks.
• Examining and analyzing data records.
• Interpreting information based on prior year and/or similar clients.
• Using standard procedures to enter information and identify issues.
• Inputting information into appropriate software.
• Inputting clear and concise notes for missing items and questions.
• Maintaining and expanding knowledge base.
• Utilizing training material to develop and keep skills and knowledge current.
• Attending courses on subject matter when necessary.
• Increasing efficiencies, technical ability, and interpersonal skills.
• Gaining a strong understanding of the technical aspects of the teams role.
• Understanding how performed tasks integrate into the overall process.
• Engaging and participating in special projects or completing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

• Availability to work minimum 30 hours/week (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM local time; schedule must span at least 4 days/week with minimum 4 consecutive hours/day).
• Previous audit or assurance experience highly preferred.
• Associate degree or above highly preferred.
• Experience with and proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Adobe Acrobat, preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and independence with respect to client information.
• Demonstrates accuracy and attention to detail in a range of standard tasks.
• Demonstrates ability to manage workload effectively and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Solid communication skills, both written and verbal maturity.
• Demonstrates ability to work with others.
• Ability to work independently.

The pay rate range for this job position is $20.23 to $49.10. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements, and geographic location.
