FINANCE COORDINATOR (Position Reposted) Overview The Town of Natick is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Coordinator to support all functions of the Finance Department and report to the Comptroller. Responsibilities Assist accounts payable and payroll processing. Reconcile and audit vendor accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance. Maintain and update payroll deductions for health, life, and dental benefits. Document Finance Department procedures and internal processes. Complete special projects assigned by the Comptroller and Director of Finance. Post and reconcile receipts for the Collector’s Office. Monitor municipal budgets and prepare financial reports for Town departments. Enter and process bi‑weekly payroll for Comptroller departments. Support Town payroll operations as needed. Assist with annual Town audits by gathering data and preparing required reports. Provide accounts payable support and perform additional financial duties as required. Contribute to departmental special projects and process improvements. Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of one (1) year of progressively responsible professional accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting functions. Familiarity with MUNIS and payroll systems preferred. Valid Massachusetts driver’s license required. Compensation Salary range: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year. This is a full‑time, benefited position (37.5 hours per week).
