Description
The clinical pharmacist I has the responsibility for the provision of high-quality, individualized, cost-effective pharmaceutical care and integrated pharmacy operational services in collaboration with the healthcare team to optimize patient's medication therapy outcomes and quality of life. Performs all duties in a manner, which promotes team concept and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission and philosophy.
Key roles include:
- The ability to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical patient care.
- Ability to follow department/ facility/regional policies, procedures and guidelines related to medication use system, pharmaceutical care and documentation of clinical interventions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form to key stakeholders (peers, caregivers, patients, providers).
- Knowledgeable of regulatory requirements and medication safety standards.

Required Qualifications:
- PharmD Doctorate of Pharmacy Or
- Bachelor's Degree Bachelor of Pharmacy
- Upon hire: Washington Pharmacist License (1)
- Upon hire: Basic Life Support (BLS)- where applicable
- Notes
- (1) Board of Pharmacy Preceptor License - when eligible and where applicable
Preferred Qualifications:
- Acute care hospital pharmacy experience, 1 year or equivalent experience.
- Completion of ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
