Associate Project Manager - Kansas City

Overview Associate Project Manager supports the management of residential projects from property acquisition through completion. Working closely with and under the guidance of Project Managers, this role coordinates project scheduling, budgeting, vendor coordination, documentation, quality control, and field operations to help ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while gaining hands‑on experience in residential construction project management. Must be local to the Kansas City metro area for the role as property locations are in the area. The base salary range for this position is $50,000 to $65,000. Responsibilities Assist Project Managers in coordinating residential renovation projects from planning through completion. Support pre-purchase propertyinspections and scope development. Assistwithschedulingcontractors, vendors, inspections, and deliveries tomaintainproject timelines. Track project progress and provide regular updates to Project Managers. Maintain accurate project documentation, budgets, schedules, and job files. Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure work is completed. Conduct routine site visits to document project progress. Monitor project milestones and elevate scheduling or budget concerns to the Project Manager. Support permit, inspection, and compliance activities as needed. Help ensure job sites remain organized and compliant with company safety expectations. Assistwith special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned. Qualifications Experience 1–3 years of experience in construction, residential renovations, project coordination, construction administration, estimating, or a related field preferred. Experience in residential construction, home remodeling, or property renovations is preferred but notrequired. Internship or entry‑level experience in construction project management will also be considered. Education Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. Skills Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Basic understanding of residential construction processes and terminology preferred. Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn. Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with construction management software is a plus. Valid driver's license with the ability to travel between job sites within the market. Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registration OSHA 10 preferred.
