Shipping & Receiving Specialist with Local Delivery Support

Job Description

This role is primarily responsible for shipping and receiving operations , ensuring accurate handling of incoming and outgoing customer equipment.

Additionally, this position will support local pick-up and delivery routes approximately 2 days per week , requiring professionalism and safe driving practices.

This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, organization, and reliability when handling high-value equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Shipping & Receiving (Primary Focus)

Manage shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and customer assets
Track, trace, and update incoming and outgoing shipments
Receive, inspect, sort, stock, and organize incoming inventory
Pull, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments with accuracy and care
Maintain clean, organized, and audit-ready workspace
Log daily inventory movements and ensure accurate counts
Collaborate with customer service, supervisors, and vendors

Delivery Support (Secondary – ~2 days/week)

Drive company vehicles for local pick-up and delivery of customer equipment
Review packing slips and verify shipment accuracy
Maintain delivery logs and ensure proper documentation
Follow all safety protocols for handling and transporting equipment
Represent the company professionally during customer interactions

Daily Expectations

Communicate daily with supervisor regarding shipments, receipts, and deliveries
Maintain high attention to detail when handling sensitive equipment
Balance warehouse duties with scheduled delivery routes
