Exciting Opportunity in PACU Nursing!

Job Description:


- Shift: 09:00 - 21:00
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule Needs:
- One night a week
- Two weekends
- Experience Required:
- Must have Meditech experience
- ICU or PACU background preferred


- Unit Information:
- Location: 2nd Floor, Main Hospital
- Number of Beds: 26
- Staff Composition:
- Day Shift: Charge nurse and usually a float nurse
- Night Shift: 2 PACU nurses on call


- Patient Ratios: 1:2
- Type of Equipment Used: EMR - Meditech


- Typical Procedures Performed:
- General
- Neuro
- Oncology
- Orthopedics
- Vascular
- All types of surgical procedures


- Ideal Candidate:
- Easy-going and pleasant personality
- Strong commitment to patient care


- REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: None, but ACLS is beneficial
- Dress Code: Royal Blue or Hospital Scrubs
- Floating Areas: Day Surgery
