How You'll Make An Impact In This Role

• Direct Patient Care and Monitoring: Perform continuous clinical assessment and monitoring of pediatric intensive care patients.
• Advanced Interventions: Manage life support, ensure pharmacological accuracy, and maintain vascular integrity through advanced technical interventions.
• Advocacy and Support: Serve as a clinical liaison, providing holistic advocacy and ethical support, with an emphasis on family-centered care.
• Team Collaboration and Safety: Participate in rapid response situations, collaborate effectively with emergency leadership and interdisciplinary partners, and uphold unit safety standards.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing by hire date to position required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

What Additional Preferences We're Seeking

Pediatric Critical Care or Cardiovascular experience preferred
