Tax Attorney

Smoker & Company and its Family of Companies provide business services spanning various client needs such as bookkeeping, payroll, tax representation and controversy, consulting, wealth management, and property management. We are currently seeking an experienced Tax Attorney to support our growing client base. We offer a base salary depending on relevant experience, benefits and performance-based bonuses. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for helping clients navigate their tax needs. Responsibilities Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information Research tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance Assist clients in tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax law changes Review federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses Handle federal, state and local tax issues Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations Licensed to practice law in PA Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong professional ethics / integrity / reliability Benefits Compensation Range $100,000 to $150,000 depending on experience Candidates are required to successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
