We are hiring a installer for burglar & fire alarms, Surveillance camera systems, access control, audio/video wiring and equipment. This position REQUIRES THE CANDIDATE TO HAVE A VALID CT ELECTRICAL LICENSE: C5,C6, L5, L6. If you have relevant industry experience, and are currently enrolled in an apprenticeship we would encourage you to apply.

Competitive Pay and benefits: $35-$45.00 starting pay for L6/C6 or higher, plus 50%contribution to a healthcare/dental/vision plan, two weeks of paid vacation/PTO/holidays. Notebook pc, company vehicle, paid training and bonuses.
Responsibilities:
Install low voltage cabling and cabling assemblies ( i.e. metallic & non-metallic conduit and raceways, etc.)according to national electric code in both residential and commercial settings.
Install and program new alarm and security/fire alarm systems, cctv, access control, and a/v equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues..
Conduct routine preventative maintenance and testing of systems..
Monitor inventory of service parts and keep van stocked properly.
Perform all duties in a neat and workman like manner.
Train customers how to use their new systems.
Adhere to safety regulations.
Be courteous and respectful and patient with customers, and employees.
Be to work on time.
Qualifications:
Have one of the following Connecticut low voltage electrical licenses: C5, C6, L5, L6, E2, E1.
Proven experience completing from start to finish security/fire alarm, access, CCTV, installation, maintenance, or other related lines of work.
Proficiency in installing (bending) emt.
Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50 lbs), climb ladders, work in challenging physical environments
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills. We don't give up on finding the right answer.
Strong attention to detail. Proper spelling is included in the details.
Experience pulling cable (efficiently), and drilling holes (not through finished floors though!)
Experience working with wireless technology (internet WiFi and alarm rf protocols)
Clean driving record
