Join our team as a Medical Receptionist and help provide a positive experience to our patients!Job Responsibilities:Patient interaction and registration: Greet and register patients, update demographics, verify insurance information, and maintain accurate records in the EMRPhone management: Answer telephone calls, record messages, and accurately re-direct calls as neededPayment processing: Collect patient payments and manage payment transactionsAdministrative tasks: Assist with faxes, emails, and office organizationOffice upkeep: Maintain a clean and professional environment, and maintain a welcoming waiting areaMinimum Requirements:Education:High School Diploma, or equivalentLicenses & Certifications:Medical Administrative Assistant, preferredWork Experience:Minimum of one year of customer service experience, preferably in a medical setting is preferredRequired Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and coworkersSuperior customer service skillsA high level of professionalismExperience with medical office software is a plusReliable transportation and the willingness to comply with the company travel policyAbility to work 13+ hour shifts, stand/walk for long periods, and lift 25 lbs.Must have scheduling flexibility, including weekends and holidaysPay & Benefits:Competitive hourly pay: $16.50 - $18, plus opportunities for overtimeFull benefits package, including PTO, SSL, and 7 premium pay holidays when workedHealth, dental, and vision insurance (single and family coverage) available 30 days after full time employment401(k) plan with company match after one yearExciting opportunities for growth within the organizationIf you're ready to grow in a supportive, team-oriented environment, apply today and start your journey with ExpressCare Urgent Care Centers!
