Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:45 PM

Pay Rate: Up to $40.00 per hour

Location: Hazelwood, MO

Grade Levels: Kindergarten-5th Grade (multiple positions available)

Position Overview

The School Teacher implements daily instructional plans in an effective and engaging manner while maintaining a classroom environment that promotes learning, personal growth, and student success. The ideal candidate builds positive relationships with students, collaborates effectively with administrators and colleagues, and demonstrates strong classroom management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement daily instructional plans aligned with curriculum goals and district standards

• Maintain a classroom environment that is safe, positive, and conducive to learning

• Foster academic, social, and emotional development among students

• Establish and maintain effective rapport with students, parents, and school staff

• Utilize effective classroom management strategies to support student success

• Collaborate with building administrators, teachers, and support staff

• Monitor student progress and provide feedback as needed

• Communicate professionally with parents and school personnel regarding student performance and needs

• Follow all school, district, state, and federal guidelines and regulations

Minimum Qualifications

• Missouri Elementary Education Teaching License is required

• Bachelor's Degree or higher required

• Valid teacher license/certification as required by state, district, or contract

• One year of experience as a school teacher preferred

• Ability and willingness to accept responsibility for the safety, well-being, and educational progress of students

• Ability to read and implement instructional plans effectively

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with students, parents, administrators, and staff

• Ability to present information clearly and respond to questions appropriately

• Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts

• Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR certification if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray if applicable

• Current health certificate as required by contract or state regulations

• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
