AV-rated insurance defense firm seeks future Florida attorneys for its Pensacola office interested in practicing civil litigation. The position requires strong communication and writing skills. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, a problem-solver, and committed to producing outstanding work product. This position offers a collegial work environment and potential for growth.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Extensive legal research and writing

• Drafting motions, memorandums and other pleadings

• Defending and conducting depositions

• Attending and arguing hearings

• Drafting appellate briefs

• Drafting deposition summaries

• Responding to discovery requests

• Managing multiple research and writing projects simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines

• Support with trial preparation

• The position requires excellent academic credentials, strong communication and writing skills, and comfortable interacting directly with clients, opposing counsel, and Judges.

The position requires that recent graduates take the Florida Bar upon graduation.
