A postdoctoral position is immediately available within Dr. Andrew Holbrook's research group at the Department of Biostatistics at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). We are seeking a creative and collaborative individual interested in working at the intersection of *Diffusion Models*, *Bayesian Inference* and *Probabilistic Programming Languages*. The successful candidate will benefit from a supportive lab environment and the highly collaborative UCLA community. Duties and Responsibilities (1) In this role, the appointee will actively lead multiple projects and immerse themself at one of the world's leading research institutions, while learning skills in statistics, deep learning and AI; (2) The appointee will also have the opportunity to strengthen their leadership and collaboration skills by interacting with graduate students, writing fellowship applications, and assisting with manuscript preparation. Position Qualifications (1) A recent doctorate degree in the field of statistics, computer science, applied math, or related disciplines; (2) Strong written and oral communication skills; (3) Strong data science background with Python and diffusion model experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
