Location: Columbus Area | Multiple PENZONE Salon + Spa Locations
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours/week | Open availability including nights + weekends
The Role
As a Salon Lead + Manager on Duty (MOD) , you'll help keep the salon running smoothly while creating an elevated experience for both guests + team members.
You'll serve as a go-to resource for the team, help navigate day-to-day salon needs, and step into a leadership role during opening + closing shifts. This is a great opportunity for someone who is ready to grow their leadership skills in a fast-paced salon environment.
What You'll Do
Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) during opening + closing shifts
Help set the tone for a positive, welcoming + productive salon environment
Support Support Professionals with scheduling, appointment book changes + call-offs
Help address guest questions + concerns and find timely solutions
Provide an extraordinary guest experience while modeling PENZONE standards
Complete daily opening + closing responsibilities
Assist with cash drawers, petty cash + deposits
Travel between Columbus-area PENZONE locations based on business needs
Attend company meetings as needed
Support additional salon needs + projects as assigned
What You Bring
Previous leadership, supervisory or management experience preferred
A genuine interest in leading, coaching + supporting a team
Strong written + verbal communication skills
Organized, dependable + detail-oriented
Self-motivated with a solutions-focused mindset
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
Confident handling guest concerns with professionalism + care
Professional, polished + fashion-forward presentation
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Reliable transportation + willingness to work across PENZONE Columbus-area locations
Availability to work +40 hours per week, including nights + weekends
