Role Description We are a family-owned business in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. Our restaurant is attached to a seasonal marina that caters to yachts that travel up and down the Maine coast. We are looking for someone who can produce and execute a high-quality menu for our high-profile clients. There are no high-end restaurants in the area, and this need must be fulfilled. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic. In the summer season, we are open 7 days a week, 11 am - 9 pm. In the winter, we go down to six days a week. We offer employee housing. Qualifications 1+ years of line cook or kitchen experience preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays ServSafe Certification preferred Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards Maintain consistency in food quality, portion control, and presentation Set up and maintain assigned workstations and kitchen supplies Assist with food preparation and ingredient preparation Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Complete opening and closing duties as assigned Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth daily operations. #J-18808-Ljbffr Whale's Tale Restaurant & Seafarer's Pub
